The Faith Wins team has gotten off to a great start in 2022. Coming off the heels of a wildly successful American Restoration Tour last fall, we have picked right back up and just completed a swing through my home state of South Carolina.
We reached over 13,000 people in-person over nine weeks at the end of last year and with our swing through the Palmetto state over four days we just reached over 2,700 in-person attendees to start 2022 off with a bang. There is no doubt that God’s people are waking up to the call to become Matthew 5 Salt and Light in our nation.
We are partnering again with WallBuilders and have David Barton delivering his new presentation at the Tour events coupled with pertinent and timely remarks from Chad.
The SC Tour started off with our gracious hosts, Pastor Wes Church and First Baptist Church in Columbia, we then went up to Rock Hill where we were warmly greeted by Pastor Patrick Conley and Garden Sanctuary Church. Our trip then took us down to Florence Baptist Temple with Pastor Bill Monroe where nearly 1,000 people came out for a Monday night meeting – people are hungry to hear Bible-based reality!
We had one of our largest lunch events ever – well over 400 – with our wonderful and generous friends at Community Bible Church led by Pastor Carl Broggi in Beaufort. Then in Blythewood, our dear brothers and sisters at Village Church with Pastor Erik Estep rolled out the red carpet for us and provided a wonderful setting for an evening gathering. Rounding out our Tour was a dinner event with the Family Caucus in Columbia – where David’s presentation was seen by over 100 key faith leaders and legislators who represent SC in the General Assembly.
Finally, we wrapped up with a talk to over 100 Christian school leaders, pastors and students from the SC Association of Christian Schools.
We are so excited to watch God use David Barton’s message of the truth about God’s irreplaceable role in America and examples of the men and women who made this nation great. While we are saddened to see how far our historical literacy has fallen in our land, we are honored that the Lord is allowing the Faith Wins team to be a part of the coming American Restoration!
