George Barna’s recent survey has definitively confirmed my thoughts- there are LOTS of Christians sitting in your churches NOT voting their Biblical values.
In fact, Barna’s research (View Study HERE) reveals some disturbing facts that fully demonstrate what we have said for years: if Christians voted Biblical values—NOT in support of a candidate or party but in support of Life, Biblical marriage, Parental rights, support for Israel, National sovereignty and security and conservative economic polices, MOST of the things that frustrate us about “politics” could be reversed!
Barna’s research tells us:
- Only 51% of people of faith are likely to vote in 2024;
- Nearly 32 MILLION Christians who REGULARLY attend church are unlikely to vote;
- The margin in the 2020 election in 9 swing states was roughly 600k votes;
- AN ADDITIONAL FIVE MILLION Christians would vote if their PASTOR encouraged them to do so;
- AND, 14% more would vote if a friend encouraged them to do so, AND ANOTHER 14% would vote if they could see platform comparisons or voter guides that explained candidate positions on Biblical issues.
