One of the top questions we get is, “Does your organization endorse?” We neither endorse nor discourage endorsing, but we keep our goals in mind with all we do. Faith Wins exists to maximize Christian influence, votes and VOICES in the public arena. Our mission and the actions of our organization have always been focused on equipping pastors and Christians to engage faithfully in the public square. Obviously, some of you as pastors will choose to endorse in some cases, and as you might remember from my post about The Johnson Amendment recently your freedom to do just that has been proven and reinforced for the first time in decades.
Last year alone, our teams in the early “Carve Out” states conducted 79 pastor meetings with 8 different presidential candidates. We invited them all, but some chose to ignore our invitations to meet with you! Yes, we invite candidates for different offices and from the major parties to meet with us for candid and open conversations, hard questions and private prayer. We have found that those meetings have led to trusted relationships, long term friendships and even some new Christians!
After the primary season, we did 124 pastor meetings in 20 states with over 4000 pastors attending those meetings to learn how to conduct voter registration, maximize their congregations’ voting, and engage in the public square on issues vital to the Body of Christ.
Faith Wins has worked to bring pastors to the front line allowing them to ask candidates and elected officials questions and challenging them to stay true to a Biblical Worldview. While our approach is not complicated, it is HARD WORK and is very unique in the political space. Our meetings allow you as pastors and faith leaders to speak into the lives of as many candidates and elected officials as possible, where you become true influencers of candidates, elected officials and even staff.
As State party Chairman for a key state in the presidential preference process and as a Senior Staffer and First Ever National Director of Faith Engagement for the RNC, I have had a front row seat to politics at the highest levels. The Lord has led me to build Faith Wins as a spiritual and Biblical approach to influence elections and policies. Certainly our methods are contrary to the way most political “experts” would prefer. My experiences with all of you have proven our approach is THE best way to bring Christian voices to the forefront of American policy.
The foundation of our work is to encourage pastors, churches, and Christians to engage in the public square by evaluating policies and principles through the lens of a Biblical worldview. Our commitment is to advance God-honoring values in culture and government—and we’ll be true to that.
Simply put, The Church’s influence should be anchored in timeless truth, not in personalities or party labels. Our focus remains on equipping believers to discern policies that align with Scripture, regardless of who champions them.
Faith Wins has worked tirelessly across the nation to connect with pastors, educate them on the issues, and encourage them to lead their congregations with boldness and clarity.
We don’t play favoritism when it comes to candidates. We open the door for Pastors and faith leaders to get to know as many candidates on the ballot so they can decide for themselves who would best represent a Biblical worldview if they were to be elected. This isn’t about playing the game of politics but allowing leaders in communities across America to build a relationship with the people who will potentially lead them as their elected official.
Our calling is clear: lift high the name of Jesus, stand firm on Biblical truth, and equip the Church to speak with courage into every arena of life—including the voting booth. As we often say, when THE CHURCH FINDS ITS VOICE, FAITH WINS!
