There’s something deeply impactful when men and women of God show up—physically and prayerfully—in the halls of government. With voices united, we stood not as a political party, but as the Body of Christ committed to truth, integrity, and the flourishing of our communities.
We prayed together, spoke with lawmakers, and held a press conference—bringing light to issues that affect every family in South Carolina. These included moral concerns such as the potential legalization of casino gambling and the responsibility we have to protect our communities from harm.
Why Public Engagement Matters
Christians often wonder where the line is between church and state. But God instituted both the Church and the State—not to compete, but to complement each other for the good of society. When the Church retreats from public life, it creates a vacuum filled with moral confusion and cultural drift.
That’s why Faith Wins believes so strongly in pastors being salt and light, not only from the pulpit but also in public spaces. Jesus didn’t avoid public arenas—He stepped into them with truth and grace. So must we.
