Our brothers and sisters in Ukraine need prayer.
Just hours ago, Russia launched an aggressive, abrupt attack on Ukraine, in what appears to be an effort to overthrow the government. Right now, hundreds of missiles reign down all across Ukraine and Russian troops advance to the capital of Kyiv. Military historians say this is the most pronounced act of violence in Europe since World War II.
Understandably, the people of Ukraine are fearful as families become separated, citizens attempt to flee the country, and some stay behind to fight for their sovereignty.
Our prayer is that the people of Ukraine remain safe and feel God’s comfort and peace that passes all understanding.
We pray that the people of Ukraine take faith and hold strong in what 2 Timothy 1:7 says: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
We ask you to join us in lifting a prayer to the people of Ukraine, for democracy worldwide, for a peaceful Europe and for the all to keep their trust in Christ.
